Folk On The Lawn

"innovative folk for innovative folk"

Bumper post! Featuring a teaser video, new featured song and more…

Jul 08

We’re now less than two days away from the first act gracing the FOTL stage, and it’s promising to be a fantastic weekend in more ways than one!

Weather update

The latest weather forecast looks good, with temperatures hitting 22C on Friday but cooling down to a comfortable 19C for the rest of the weekend.  If previous years are anything to go by the Abbey Mill seems to have its own microclimate and tends to always be graced with good weather on FOTL weekend.

You can find out what’s on when by clicking here.  The programmes have gone to press, but if you’d like to print your own copy you can download it here.

Featured song: “The Given” (Demo) by Brenig

As promised, we have another featured song for you.  This time it’s Brenig, with a demo of “The Given”:

You can catch Brenig Friday evening on the River Stage, and Saturday at 6.30 on the Bar Stage.  Outside FOTL they’ll be playing Llangollen Fringe on Thursday, and Llanfyllin Fest, Powys on Sunday.

Teaser video from Astrakan Project

Finally, we were delighted to receive this teaser video from Astrakan Project, who we can’t wait to welcome to FOTL for this first time this year.  We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
